President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that 352 TNI soldiers will be taking part in the military parade to mark the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made as President Prabowo departed to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta, showing Indonesia’s joy and honor in response to the invitation extended by the Indian government. This invitation allows Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to be prominently featured in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. During his visit, President Prabowo is set to hold discussions with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various aspects of bilateral cooperation, which may include the signing of an MoU on collaboration in fields such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, scheduled meetings with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia will also take place as part of his itinerary.
