President Prabowo Subianto recently visited former President Joko Widodo in Solo to provide updates on his recent state visits to Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Belgium, and France. During the meeting, Prabowo shared details of the breakthroughs achieved during his international tour, specifically highlighting the successful negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with the European Union after a decade of discussions.

Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Prabowo arrived at Jokowi’s residence in Solo and was warmly welcomed by Jokowi and First Lady Iriana. The meeting between the two former presidents was described as cordial and relaxed, focusing on current issues and key highlights from Prabowo’s 15-day diplomatic tour.

Reflecting on the positive outcomes of the tour, Prabowo expressed gratitude for the favorable results obtained, including potential economic collaborations with countries like Belarus. He emphasized Indonesia’s strong international reputation and commitment to neutrality and peaceful cooperation on the global stage. Prabowo highlighted Indonesia’s stance as a non-aligned nation and its efforts to foster friendly relations with all countries without interference in their domestic affairs.

Accompanying Prabowo in the meeting with Jokowi were State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo. Prabowo’s visit to Jokowi in Solo provided an opportunity to discuss key diplomatic achievements and reinforce Indonesia’s position as a respected and neutral player in international relations.
